Introduction to Private Lending in South Africa
The closing assessment
20 questions, one drawn from each lesson, marked the moment you submit. The pass mark is 16. Every question comes back with the reason for the answer — including the ones you got right, because a right answer for the wrong reason is the expensive kind here.
Loading the paper…
How this is marked, said plainly. In your browser. The site is published as static files with no server behind it, so the answers are necessarily in the page and somebody determined can read them. That is a real limitation and it is written here rather than left to be discovered.
The alternative costs more than it buys: server-side marking needs an account, which means a sign-up wall in front of free education and personal information the Association would then hold and have to protect. The certificate records completion of a free course and confers nothing, so the only person a forged one misleads is whoever forged it.
40 questions are published, two for each lesson, so a second attempt is a different paper and the options are reshuffled each time.
This page explains how something works. It is not financial, legal or tax advice, it takes no account of your circumstances, and nothing here is a recommendation to lend. Private lending places capital at risk.
